and Miranda.

Week Two: Child's Play

The task: Create and
design a new toy for the toy company Designworks.
Project managers: Raj for Impact; Lindsay
for First Forte.
Which team won: Impact.
Who went into the boardroom: Lindsay took
Adele and Miriam in with her.
Who got fired: Lindsay.
Reward for the winning team: Clay pigeon
shooting at a country club.
Week Three: Shop 'Til You Drop
Original air date: 2nd March 2005
The task: To buy 10 unrelated
brand items at the best price possible, the team who spends
the least money wins.
Project managers: Matthew for Impact; Adele
for First Forte.
Which team won: Impact spentonly £447.38;
First Forte spent £506.94.
Who got fired: Miranda.
Who went into the boardroom: Adele chose
Miranda and Ben to take into the boardroom with her.
Reward for the winning team: Dinner with
Sir Alan at his favorite Italian restaurant.
Week Four: The Harrod's Sales
Original air date: 9th March 2005
The task: To run an area
of the department store Harrod's. The team with the most profit
wins.
Project managers: James for Impact; Tim for
First Forte.
Which team won: Impact win with £3,295.38
to First Forte's £3,108.50.
Who went into the boardroom: Adele quits
before Tim has chance to choose.
Who got fired: Adele.
Reward for the winning team: A helicopter
trip around English stately homes.
Best Paul moment: 3 words - Rosie the Bear.
Week Five: Art With A Capital 'F'
Original air date: 16th March 2005
The task: To select
a marketable artist and hold an exhibition. The team that
makes the most money wins.
Project managers: Rachel for Impact; Sebastian
for First Forte.
Which team won: First Forte win with £19,563.75
to Impact's £6,147.50.
Who went into the boardroom: Rachel chooses
Paul and Matthew to return to the boardroom with her.
Reward for the winning team: First Forte
were treated to a trip and lunch aboard the Orient Express.
Who got fired: Matthew.
Best Paul moment: His comparrison of Lucy
Bennett's paintings to a Lamborghini Miura.
Week Six: Advertising Executives
Original air date: 23rd March 2005
The task: To produce
an advertising campaign for a 10 CD changer.
Project managers: Miriam for First Forte
and Paul for Impact.
Which team won: First Forte.
Who went into the boardroom: Paul took Saira
and Rachel into the boardroom with him.
Reward for the winning team: The winning
team was treated to a shopping spree.
Who got fired: Rachel.
Best Paul moment: His defense in the boardroom
("I am a Roman Catholic and as God is my witness I shook
her hand outside."). Or maybe his attempt to get one
of the actors to laugh (An aardvark walks into a bar and the
barman says why the long face?).
Week Seven: Apprentice Celebrities
Original air date: 30th March 2005
The task: To pursuade
celebrities to make contributions towards a fund-raising event.
The team that raises the most money wins.
Project managers: James for First Forte and
Ben for Impact.
Which team won: Impact who raised a staggering
£18,000 compared to First Forte who raised £10,000.
Who went into the boardroom: James took in
Raj and Sebastian.
Who got fired: Sebastian.
Best Paul moment: A very drunken Paul celebrating
Impact's big win.
Week Eight: Food Fight
Original air date: 6th April 2005
The task: To add value
to basic ingredients by creating food products to sell at
a farmer's market. The team that makes the most money wins.
Project managers: Ben for Impact; Raj for
First Forte.
Which team wins: First Forte are the winners
with £384.35 profit to Impact's £149.69 profit.
Who goes into the boardroom: Ben takes Paul
and Miriam in with him.
Who got fired: Ben
Reward for the winning team: A trip to Monaco
with profits from the task as their gambling money in the
casino.
Best Paul moment: "Was it me who spent
£70 on bloody cheese?"
Week Nine: Team News
Original air date: 13th April 2005
The task: To sell a mobile
phone text messaging service to Tottenham Hotspur supporters.
The team with the most subscriptions wins.
Project managers: Paul for Impact; Saira
for First Forte.
Which team wins: Impact win with 704 subscriptions
to First Forte's 468.
Who goes into the boardroom: The 3 remaining
members of First Forte, Saira, James and Raj all go into the
boardroom.
Who gets fired: Raj.
Reward for the winning team: Chef, Gary Rhodes,
cooks a luxurious meal for Impact back at the house.
Best Paul moment: It's a tough one to call,
but it has to be Paul's Tottenham Hotspurs joke."
Week Ten: Apprentices On TV
Original air date: 20th April 2005
The task: To
select a range of products and sell as many units as possible
on a TV shopping channel within a 1 hour time slot.
Project managers: Miriam for Impact; James
for First Forte.
Which team wins: First Forte end with £5,407
compared to Impact's £2,017.
Who goes into the boardroom: The 3 remaining
members of Impact, Miriam, Paul and Tim all go into the boardroom.
Who gets fired: Miriam.
Reward for the winning team: Take rest and
recreation at a castle in Scotland.
Best Paul moment: The screen tests - "...and
lets be honest, if after 2 years it falls to pieces you've only
lost £24.99."
Week Eleven: Apprentice Interviews
Original air date: 27th April 2005
The task: The Apprentices are interviewed for the job.
Who got fired: Paul & James.
Best Paul moment: "I'm bored".
Week Twelve: Apprentices Reunited
Original air date: 4th May 2005
The task: To successfully
organise and manage an event on a Themes riverboat.
Who won: Tim.
